GS FAME Fellowship Group Celebrates Easter with the Orphans

The Fellowship Group of GS FAME Institute of Business (Hayam Wuruk campus) celebrated Easter through an
orphanage visit on April 11, 2009. Together with some lecturers, the officers and members of the fellowship
group donated books, school supplies, food and cash (some received from GS FAME lecturers, staff,
students and others) to the Tanjung Barat Orphanage located in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.
The orphanage house (which accommodates 28 children) welcomed the GS FAME visitors with handshakes
and smiles. The GS FAME students conducted some activities that included prayers, games and singing.
On the other hand, the orphans rendered some songs of praise as a way expressing their gratitude to
the Fellowship Group who interacted with the children by chatting with them and having some sharing.
After awhile, the GS FAME students visited the rooms of the orphans and learned more about their daily
household chores.
This meaningful celebration of Easter is an annual commitment made by the GS FAME Fellowship
Group who undoubtedly brought joy and happiness to the children of Tanjung Barat Orphanage.
