GXNU welcomes GS FAME students

Guilin, China – Guangxi Normal University (GXNU) welcomed students from GS FAME Institute of Business,
who are on a semester’s cultural and study tour to GXNU and the city of Guilin, in a short program held
at the Multi-purpose Hall of the College of International Culture and Education (CICE), July 28.
Ms. Dai Jiayi, Deputy Director, and Mr. Pan Meide, Chief of Entry-Exit Administration Section and
Assistant of Indonesian Program, both of the Office of International Exchanges, CICE were on hand to welcome
the GS FAME group headed by Ms. Carolyn B. Sunaryo, General Manager of the the Kelapa Gading Campus.
Ms. Dai expressed her gratitude that the sandwich program between the two institutions has been inaugurated
after a long period of preparation.
After the welcome speeches, the students were oriented on
the university’s regulations and facilities, as well as dorm rules. The students were also handed out student
handbooks and their ID cards.
Later in the afternoon, the students underwent an assessment test on their
level of Mandarin which will determine the participants’ class level in the Chinese language. (rar)
