English Club (HWP) Holds English Quiz 2010

On January 15, 2010 English Club (HWP) held its annual English Quiz with five groups participating as contestants.
They were Vania and Nelson, Maggie and Jenny, Melinda and Inge, Michael James and Andrew, and Maria and Marissa.
Five groups underwent three rounds namely easy round, intermediate round and difficult round. Each pair was given ten
seconds to write the answer on a piece of paper for spelling section and fifteen seconds to think and answer the vocabulary
and grammar sections. Every question in the easy round was given five points, ten points for each question in the intermediate
round, and fifteen points for every question in difficult round. All participants tried their best to win the first prize
which was Rp 1.100.000. The three winners were the following: first prize - Maggie and Jenny; second prize -
Michael and Andrew; and third prize - Melinda and Inge.
