GS FAME Students Celebrate Easter with the Orphans

The Easter was celebrated by the Fellowship Group of GS FAME Institute of Business (Hayam Wuruk Campus) through an orphanage visit on April 3, 2010.

Headed by Dewi Sartika, the officers and members of the Fellowship Group together with some lecturers visited the orphans of Panti Asuhan Karena Kasih located in Sunter, North Jakarta. The orphanage accommodates 30 children (22 boys and 8 girls) from 5 months to 16 years of age.

The group donated books, school supplies, food, toiletries and cash (some gathered from GS FAME lecturers, staff, students and others) to the orphanage.

The Fellowship Group conducted a program of songs, prayers and series of fun games. The GS FAME students also interacted with the children through sharing and chatting.

This remarkable Easter celebration is a yearly commitment made by the GS FAME Fellowship Group who indeed brought joy and happiness to the children of Karena Kasih Orphanage.
