GS FAME Celebrates Intercultural Day 2010

The GS FAME students headed by the Hayam Wuruk Student Council and Clubs celebrated the Intercultural Day 2010 on Thursday, 10 June, 2010. This year’s celebration focused on the various wonders of the world, namely; the Niagara Falls of Canada, the Eiffel Tower of Paris, the leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy and the Roman Colosseum in Rome, Italy.

An Intercultural Fashion show was also conducted where the students showed their cultural costumes representing the various cultures of China, Korea and Spain.

Yi Young Kim and Hansen won the fashion show as they wowed the audience with their Korean traditional apparel. As for the best cultural decoration, the Niagara Falls prepared by the Accounting, Finance and Marketing Clubs.

The program was ended with a very energetic performance from the Modern Dance Group.

It has been GS FAME’s tradition as an International School to stage this annual Intercultural event.

The GS FAME students once again showed their spirit of commitment, teamwork and creativity through this kind of fun-filled, cultural and informational activities.

This year’s celebration was made possible through the leadership of the Student Council Social Committee and joint efforts of various clubs officers and members.
